Each week, the Carver Journal will post excerpts from the Carver Police Department log. All people involved are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The log is meant to give a snapshot of major incidents from the weekly police log released by the department. It does not provide comprehensive coverage of each incident. Daily police logs, which are posted every week, are publicly available on the police department’s website.
This week’s log features incidents between Monday, June 24 and Monday, July 1.
Monday, June 24:
10:45 p.m.: A burglar alarm was reported on Montello Street. The building was checked and secured.
Tuesday, June 25:
11:32 a.m.: A disabled motor vehicle on North Main Street. The item was logged.
2:53 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident on Plymouth Street. Report to follow.
Wednesday, June 26:
3:43 p.m.: A 911 check on Rickard Street. Confirmed accidental.
10:25 p.m.: A burglar alarm was reported on Montello Street. Confirmed accidental.
Thursday, June 27:
1:33 p.m.: An animal complaint on Lakeview Street. Services were rendered.
2:40 p.m. A no trespass letter was issued on Center Street. The item was logged.
3:06 p.m.: Papers were served in hand on Carver Square Boulevard.
4:00 p.m.: Past property damage was reported on North Main Street. The item was logged.
4:20 p.m.: Larceny/forgery/fraud was reported on Crystal Lake Drive. Report to follow.
5:57 p.m.: A 911 check on Russell Trufant Road. Confirmed accidental.
6:15 p.m.: A missing person was reported from Marks Way. Report to follow.
7:25 p.m.: A disturbance on Tremont Street. Gone on arrival.
Friday, June 28:
9:49 a.m.: An unwanted guest on Montello Street. Services were rendered.
10:26 a.m.: Property damage was reported on West Street. Report to follow.
10:37 a.m.: A hazardous road condition was reported on South Meadow Road. This was taken/referred to another agency.
3:31 p.m.: A 911 check on Wenham Road. The item was logged.
5:09 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident on Plymouth Street. Report to follow.
9:10 p.m.: A 911 check on Shoestring Road. The item was logged.
Saturday, June 29:
1:32 a.m.: An animal complaint on East Street. Could not be located.
3:58 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident on Plymouth Street. Report to follow.
4:26 p.m.: An animal complaint on Church Street. The item was logged.
4:32 p.m.: Shoplifting was reported on Tremont Street. Report to follow.
4:35 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident was reported on Tremont Street. Report to follow.
5:44 p.m.: An unwanted guest was reported on Tremont Street. Services were rendered.
6:05 p.m.: An abandoned property was reported on Main Street. Services were rendered.
9:47 p.m.: A health and welfare check was performed. Protective custody actions were taken.
Sunday, June 30:
12:07 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident on West Street. Report to follow.
2:35 p.m.: An animal complaint on Purchase Street. The item was logged.
5:26 p.m.: A 911 check on Redtail Lane. Confirmed accidental.
5:31 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident on Tremont Street. A citation/warning was issued.
6:59 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident on Cranberry Road. A report followed with a reference to the accident and a summons.
9:55 p.m.: A youth complaint on Main Street. Could not be located.
9:58 p.m.: A carbon monoxide alarm alerted on Main Street. Fire services were provided.
10:09 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident on Johns Pond Road. Report to follow.
Monday, July 1:
5:08 a.m.: Vandalism was reported on Main Street. Report to follow.
