Carver Police Log: Sept. 22 to Sept. 29

Each week, the Carver Journal will post excerpts from the Carver Police Department log. All people involved are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The log is meant to give a snapshot of major incidents from the weekly police log released by the department. It does not provide comprehensive coverage of each incident. Police logs, which are posted every week, are publicly available on the Carver police department’s website.

This week features incidents from Monday, Sept. 22 to Sunday, Sept. 28.

Monday, Sept. 22:

10:54 a.m.: An animal complaint was called in on Main Street. It could not be located.

2:28 p.m.: An assault was reported on North Main Street.

4:32 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident at the intersection of North Main Street and Plymouth Street.

4:41 p.m.: Property damage was reported on Lakeview Street.

Tuesday, Sept. 23:

4:46 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident was reported on North Main Street.

Wednesday, Sept. 24:

3:42 a.m.: A burglar alarm was reported going off on North Main Street. The item was logged.

7:51 a.m.: A burglar alarm was reported going off on Meadow Street. It was confirmed as accidental.

12:27 p.m.: Hazardous road conditions were reported on Silva Street and Center Street. Police rendered services.

12:28 p.m.: Police reported to “keep the peace” on Marks Way. According to the police department, peace was restored.

6:25 p.m.: Police were called to assist the Carver Fire Department on Fuller Street.

10:06 p.m.: A neighbor dispute was reported on Ward Street Extension.

Thursday, Sept. 25:

11:58 a.m.: Larceny/forgery/fraud was reported on Jill Marie Drive. According to police, it was investigated and a report was taken.

2:58 p.m.: A hazardous road condition was reported at the intersection of Forest Street and Egypt Road. It was referred to another agency.

3:47 p.m.: A motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Hammond Street and Federal Road.

5:47 p.m.: A tree was reported down on Federal Road. Police rendered services.

7:49 p.m.: An animal complaint was reported on Wenham Road. The hazard was removed, according to police.

Friday, Sept. 26:

12:07 a.m.: A disabled motor vehicle was reported at the intersection of Center Street and Silva Street.

1:32 p.m.: Trash was dumped on Brook Street, according to police.

Saturday, Sept. 27:

1:14 a.m.: A burglar alarm was reported going off on North Main Street. The building was checked and secured, according to the police department.

11:39 a.m.: A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Rochester Road. No action was taken or required, according to police.

4:42 p.m.: A motor vehicle was disabled at the intersection of Purchase Street and Main Street.

5:45 p.m.: A suspicious person was reported on Tremont Street. They could not be located, according to police.

7:46 p.m.: A burglar alarm was reported going off on Rochester Road. According to the police department, the building was checked and secured.

10:47 p.m.: A fireworks complaint was reported near Redtail Lane. The neighborhood was checked by police.

Sunday, Sept. 28:

3:59 p.m.: Larceny/forgery/fraud was reported on Pine Street.

6:40 p.m.: A suspicious person was reported near North Main Street and Route 44. According to police, the suspicious person was gone on arrival.

7:56 p.m.: A disturbance was reported on Pond Street. Peace was restored, according to the police department.
