State legislators considered a series of bills on Tuesday proposing changes to the state’s MBTA multi-family zoning requirements set to go into full effect by the end of this year.
Debate has sparked in towns across Massachusetts, including in Carver, as they mull over how to deal with a state law requiring towns to zone for multi-family housing. In a Select Board Meeting on Tuesday, July 9, Town Planner Thomas Bott laid out what Carver’s compliance with the state’s MBTA Communities Act would look like.
